Who is She????

With a background in landscape architecture and organic farming, I have developed a deep appreciation for the interconnectedness of communities and the land they inhabit. By day, I work as a floral designer, and by night, I’m a Communication Leadership graduate student at the University of Washington. I’m passionate about connecting people to both the built and natural environments that surround them—believing this connection is essential for cultivating healthy, resilient communities. Through audio and visual storytelling, I aim to raise awareness, inspire advocacy, and contribute to a more just future rooted in food equity and land stewardship.

I am a multidisciplinary artist whose work combines elements of expressive realism and abstraction to highlight the shifting/precarious nature of memory and observation. My work intends to evoke a sense of urgency in capturing a moment or feeling through a meditative attention to both the mundane and the sublime. This commingling of memory and myth informs my artmaking process which centers largely on intuitively collaging imagery pulled from observation and dreams. The juxtaposition of detailed imagery and expanses of abstracted landscapes serve to inspire rough narratives that speak to both the personal and collective joy and grief of the human experience within the viewer’s mind.

I earned a Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture and a Certificate in Sustainability from the University of Georgia in 2019. After graduating, I spent several years working on small organic farms in Winterville, GA, including serving as Lead Flower Farmer at Diamond Hill Farm during the 2022 growing season. In early 2023, I relocated to Seattle, where I am currently pursuing a graduate degree in Communication in Digital Media at the University of Washington.
